Molagai Thokku also known as Milagai Thokku is basically Green Chilli Pickle. Make this pickle at home by using Preetha's recipe and enjoy it with any and all food! For those who live alone and eat boring food everyday make this pickle and give your meals the spice it needs! Enjoy!Ingredients:1 tbsp sesame seeds1 cup green chillies7 to 8 curry leaves1 pinch whole hing3 to 4 tbsp Sesame seed oil1 small ball tamarind2 tbsp jaggerySalt to taste1 tsp mustard seedsMethod:Heat a pan and add sesame seeds. Once they start to toast, remove off flame.In same pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and fry hing. Add curry leaves and chillies and sauté on a medium flame till chillies are well charred.Remove and keep aside to cool. In a mixie jar, combine the chillies mixture with toasted sesame, jaggery, salt and tamarind. Grind to a thick paste.In a deep kadhai, heat remaining oil and crackle mustard seeds.Add chilli paste and stir till the mixture is well cooked and thick. Cool and transfer to a dry glass jar.
