Aloo pakodas coated with moong dal and rice flour batter.MOONG KE PAKODEIngredients 1 cup whole green gram (sabut moong), soaked in water for 4 hours 2-3 garlic cloves1 inch ginger, peeled and sliced 2-3 green chillies Salt to taste2 tbsps rice flour ¼ tsp turmeric powder 2 medium potatoes, peeled Oil for deep-fryingChaat masala for sprinklingMethod 1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Put garlic, ginger, green chillies, salt, drained green gram and ½ cup water in a grinder jar and grind to a smooth batter. 3. Transfer into a bowl and add rice flour and whisk well. Add turmeric powder and whisk again. 4. Thinly slice potatoes, dip each slice in the green gram batter and deep-fry in hot oil, turning sides, till both they are golden and crisp all around. Drain on absorbent paper. 5. Arrange the fried moong pakodas on a serving plate, sprinkle chaat masala over them and serve immediately.
