Dry roast the moong dal till it changes color.- In the meanwhile heat some water.- Once the dal changes color add hot water. Mix well.- Let the dal get partially cooked.- Then add jaggery, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well.- If the mixture becomes to thick add little water.- Let the jaggery melt completely.- Then add coconut milk. Mix everything well.
