Ingredients for mushroom butter masala

3 tbsp butter
1 medium boiled onion paste
1 inch  ginger paste
3 clove garlic paste
2 tomato puree
10 cashew / kaju
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp watermelon seeds
1 tbsp desiccated coconut powder


OTHER INGREDIENTS:

250 gms Button mushroom
3 tbsp butter
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
¼ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp cumin powder
1 cup water
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp fresh cream
1 tbsp coriander powder
½ tsp kasuri methi


INSTRUCTIONS

Firstly, boil onions and blend it with watermelon seeds, cashew, sesame seeds, and coconut powder

Make a fine paste

Now in a large kadai heat butter and Saute  onion paste ginger and garlic paste

Now add tomato puree and fry for 10 mins

Fry it adding water if required.

Keeping the flame on low add ¼ tsp turmeric, coriander powder 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp garam masala and ¼ tsp cumin powder.

Saute until the spices turn aromatic without burning.

Saute until oil separates from sides.

Add mushroom and fry it for 5 mins

Further add 1 cup water, ½ tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt and kasuri methi

Mix well adjusting consistency as required.

Also add 3 tbsp cream and mix well.

Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until flavours are absorbed.

Finally, enjoy mushroom butter masala with roti or naan.
