Bread roundels topped with mushroom mixture and deep fried to make this delicious snack.MUSHROOM GOLD COINIngredients 10-12 button mushrooms, finely chopped 4-5 bread slices 1 tablespoon oil 2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste Salt to taste 1 spring onion, finely chopped 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon mint paste 1 tablespoon refined flour 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves 1 egg 1 tablespoon cornflour Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan2. Add green chillies and sauté. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté. 3. Add mushrooms and sauté on high heat. 4. Add salt and mix well. 5. Add spring onion and sauté for a minute. 6. Add tomato ketchup, mint leaves and mix well. 7. Add refined flour and mix well. 8. Add coriander and mix well. Cool.9. Whisk egg in a bowl. 10. Add cornflour and mix well. Add salt and mix well. 11. Place the bread on a worktop, make a roundel with a cookie cutter. 12. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 13. Apply egg-cornflour mixture on the base of the bread slices, spread mushroom mixture evenly over it. Brush egg mixture over it. 14. Deep-fry the gold coins in hot oil till crisp and golden brown.15.
