With uncooked salsa, baked beans and a creamy cheese sauce arranged temptingly atop corn chips, it causes a burst of flavours and textures in your mouth. The exotic garnish with olives, spring onions, et al, adds to the appeal of this super tasty snack.Preparation Time: 10 minutesCooking Time: 3 minsMakes 4 servingsIngredientsFor The Uncooked Salsa2 cups finely chopped tomatoes1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)1 tsp dried oregano3 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)1 tsp sugarsalt to taste1/2 tsp finely chopped green chilliesFor The Cheese Sauce6 cheese slices , torn into pieces1/2 cup milk2 pinches of mustard (rai / sarson) powdersalt to tasteOther Ingredients2 cups corn chips1 cup baked beans2 tbsp finely chopped spring onions whites2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens2 tbsp finely chopped olives1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)Method For the uncooked salsa1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well with the back of a spoon.2. Keep aside for 30 minutes.For the cheese sauce1. Combine the cheese and milk in a broad non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.2. Switch off the flame, add the mustard powder and salt and mix well. Keep aside.How to proceed1. Arrange 1 cup of corn chips on a plate, pour ½ cup bakes beans evenly all over them.2. Spread ½ portion of the uncooked salsa and ½ the cheese sauce over it.3. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of spring onion whites, 1 tbsp of spring onion greens, 1 tbsp of olives and ½ tsp dry red chilli flakes over it.4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to make 1 more plate.5. Serve immediately.
