The Nakhon Si Thammarat National Museum is located on Rachadamnoen Road in the town of Nakhon Si Thammarat.The museum displays religious and cultural items from all periods of human habitation of Nakhon Si Thammarat, from the prehistoric to the modern era. Its open from 9am-4pm Wed-Sun and admission is 150 baht. My family found it very interesting and wed definitely recommend a visit there if youre interested in Thai culture or Thai history and in Nakhon Si Thammarat.Nakhon Si Thammarat is not really on the tourist map, but it is definitely worth a look when you travel Thailand. There's plenty of other things to see there including forests, caves, waterfalls, beaches, the famous pink dolphins, markets, great food and restaurants, and some amazing temples.
