Nan Khatai without Oven

Ingredients for Creamy Mixture:
Ghee 1 cup
Icing Sugar 1 cup

Ingredients for Dry Mixture:
All-purpose flour 1 cup
Semolina 1/4 cup
Gram Flour 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Nan Khatai:
Creamy Mixture
Dry Ingredients
Egg Yolk (for Brushing) 1
Almonds (for Garnishing) as required

Directions for Creamy Mixture Preparation:
1. In a bowl add ghee and sugar, mix it until it gets creamy in texture. Set aside.
Directions for Dry Mixture Preparation:
2. In a bowl add all-purpose flour, semolina, gram flour, cardamom powder and baking powder and mix it well.
Directions for Nan Khatai Preparation:
3. Combine the dry and creamy mixture together and form a smooth dough, leave it for 20-25 minutes.
4. Then give it a shape of khatai with your hands, brush it with egg yolk, put almonds on it and place them on a greased pan lined with butter paper.
5. Heat the pot with salt in it for 30 minutes.
6. Then put the Nan Khatai pan on a stand in the pot and cover and bake for 30-35 minutes or until fully cooked.
7. Your Nan Khatai is ready.

Cooking time: 30-35 minutes
