Combine coconut, sugar and milk in a deep heavy bottom non-stick pan and place on heat. Mix and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring continuously. 2. Add 1 tablespoon ghee, mix and cook till the mixture thickens and begins to leave the sides of the pan. Add cardamom powder, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.3. Grease a barfi tray with some ghee. Put the coconut mixture, spread evenly and tap. Set aside for 3-4 hours. 4. Demould, cut into 1 inch squares and serve.
