Nimmakaya Charu is a Tasty n healthy recipe, tastes good as a side to some pan fried veggies or non-veg curry. A healthy and a tangy dish a Relishing one as well.Method of Preparation . Initially, will prepare some Rasam Powder for Rasam or Charu.. Dry roast 2 Tbs Toor Dal, Bengal Gram Dal and Coriander Seeds.. Dry roast them till aromatic and change in colour..Add 1 Tsp Pepper Corns , Cumin Seeds & 1/2 a Tsp of Fenugreek Seeds, and roast them well..Add 7 to 8 Red Chilies, roast them till they are a bit dark..place them aside for a while till they cool down.In a Sauce pan add a glass water, add 2 chopped Tomatoes, tomatoes can be skipped.. Add 2 green Chilies to the water and 2 shoots of curry leaves as well..Place a lid and cook till tomatoes are soft and tender..Now when the roasted mixture has cooled, grind it into a fine powder , use as required and store it for further use. . Then, add required amount of water to the tender tomatoes, add 2 Tbs of ground Rasam powder or as required..Add 1 1/2 TSP Salt to it or as required & 1/4 Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder..Mix them all & boil it well for 5 to 6 Min.. Tomatoes can be skipped , directly rasam powdercan be added to the boiling water..Add a few strands of chopped coriander leaves.Add 1 1/2 Tbs of Lemon Squeeze to the mixture. . Put of the flame.Will temper the Rasam/ Charu now.Heat a pan with 1 Ths ghee or Oil..Add 1/2 a Tsp Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, 2 to 3 Red Chilies and let splutter.. Add 3 to 4 Garlic Cloves crushed, 2 shoots Curry Leaves and ket splutter .
