Ordinary day in Istanbul Balat and Galataport with friends from USA. Tag with who you would want to be here!First we went to Galataport, right on the Bosphorus at Tophane, a cruise port to boot, with great restaurants and shops, and the Modern Museum. Since we had a lot to try from Turkish Food, we had crispy lahmacun at Gunaydin. After seeing Nusretiye Mosque from 19th century, we head to Balat with a 10 min. taxi ride. The mulberries were so good we bought a container of it and eat while walking:) With its colorful houses , cafes, Greek Orthodox high school, street sellers and cats we couldnt stop filming almost everything After tasting raw bulgur balls cig kofte, our final stop was a famous local kokorec diner that specializes in all kind of offal food We tried kokorec, lamb head tandir and tribe soup. It was a diffrent experience to taste and a fun day!
