Ingredients for koftay:
1/2 kg Beef mince
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp Yogurt
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
Salt to taste
3-4 Green chilies (chopped)
1 Onion medium
1 Egg
1/4 cup Gram flour (roasted)
1 tbsp Oil
Ingredients for gravy:
1 cup Onion (chopped)
1 cup Tomato puree
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Turmeric
Salt to taste
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala powder
6-7 Black pepper whole
1/2 inch Cinnamon stick
1/4 cup Fenugreek leave (dried)
1 Bay leaf
6-7 Cloves
1/4 cup Cream
1 block Cottage cheese in cubes
2kg Spinach

Directions for kofta:
In a chopper add beef mince, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, green chilies, onion, egg and gram flour.
Chop until well combined, grease your hands, take small amount of mince and make small balls.
Deep fry on low medium flame until light golden brown and take it off.
Directions for gravy:
In a pan heat water, boil spinach in it for 8 to 10 minutes then blend.
In another pan heat oil then cook onion until translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste, whole spices and cook for a minute.
Add tomato puree, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
When oil separates, add blended spinach and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until oil separates.
Add koftay, cream, garam masala powder and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Then add dried fenugreek leaves, cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes on low flame.
When oil separates add cottage cheese cubes and mix. It’s ready.
Garnish with some cream and serve tasty palak paneer kofta.
Preparation time: 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: 30-40 minutes
Serving: 5-6 persons
