Pandan Coconut Jelly 斑斓菜燕 (agar agar pandan)

After trial it for 8-10 times, I finally get the right consistency and the looks of this pandan coconut jelly. This dessert is a bit like pudding but it has a firmer texture.

We use agar agar powder instead of gelatin powder in making this desserts and therefore it is suitable for vegetarian.

经过了8-10次的测试,终于做出了我想要的成果。并不是因为菜燕很难做,但是一开始我一直做不出我要的层次。反复实验之后,终于做出来了。

使用的是菜燕粉,也叫洋菜粉,所以素食者也可以食用。 不像吉利丁粉,所以素食者绝对安全使用。

Agar agar powder 12g / 4tsp
150g sugar (can add more if you like sweet)
850ml water
250ml coconut cream / coconut milk
1/4 tsp of salt
100ml pandan juice (120ml water + 5 leaves )

12克 /4 小匙菜燕粉
150克糖(喜欢很甜,可以加糖)
850毫升水
250毫升椰奶/椰浆
1小匙盐
100毫升斑斓汁 (120克水+5片叶子)
