Try this Chatpata version of paneer prepared with Raw mango fresh green chutney. Serve it with lachcha paranthas & enjoy!

Paneer chatniwala

Preparation time 10 mins

Ingredients Quantity
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic cloves 8-10 nos
Green chilli 3 nos + for garnish
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Mint leaves ½ bunch + for garnish
Raw mango 1 slice
Roasted Bengal gram 1 tbsp
Lemon juice ½ nos
Curd 2 tbsp
Onion cube 1 nos
Tomato cubes 1 nos
Salt to taste + as required
Black salt ¼ tsp
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Kasuri methi ½ tsp + ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp +1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
Paneer 250 gm
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Onion chopped 1 nos
Tomato chopped 1 nos
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tsp + ½ tsp
Water as required+ ¼ cup
Butter 1 tbsp
Fresh cream 2 tbsp

Method :
1. In a blender , cut roughly and add ginger . garlic cloves , green chilli , coriander leaves , mint leaves , raw mango , roasted Bengal gram , lemon juice , curd and grind it nicely .
2. In a bowl add onion cubes , tomato cubes , half of chutney mixture , salt ,black salt , chaat masala , kasuri methi , turmeric powder , oil mix it well .
3. Meanwhile take paneer block and cut it into cubes and add it into the bowl and mix it well .
4. Heat a kadhai , add oil , cumin seed , onion chopped and sauté it well for 3-4 mins .
5. Meanwhile take another pan , add oil , allow it to heat .
6. Now add tomato chopped into the kadhai ,salt mix it well .
7. Now add coriander powder , turmeric powder , garam masala give a nice stir .
8. Now add water , cover with a lid allow it to cook .
9. Meanwhile add marinate paneer in another pan and grill it nicely .
10. Transfer the grilled paneer into a plate , grill the other portion of paneer in same manner .
11. Now add the leftover chutney into the kadhai , add little water shake well and put it into the kadhai and mix it well .
12. Now add the grilled paneer into the kadhai , mix it well .
13. Now add garam masala , kasuri methi , butter , mix it well .
14. Now add fresh cream and give a nice stir .
15. Transfer it to serving bowl , garnish with mint sprig , slit of green chilli
16. Serve hot .
