Paneer do Pyaza

Ingredients Quantity

Oil 2 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Coriander seed 1 tsp
Dried red chilli 2 nos
Bayleaf 1 nos
Onion chopped 2 nos
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
Tomatoes chopped 2-3 nos
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1 ½ tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Green chilli chopped 2-3 nos
Curd ¼ cup
Onion cubes 1 nos
Capsicum cubes 1 nos
Water as required
Paneer 250 gm
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Kasuri methi 1 tsp
Ginger julienne 1 inch
Coriander sprig for garnish

Method :

1. Heat a kadhai , add oil , cumin seed , coriander seed , dry red chilli , bayleaf allow it to splutter .
2. Now add onions and sauté it well for 3-4mins until it gets brown .
3. Now add ginger garlic paste mix well and sauté it for 1 min .
4. Now add tomatoes , mix and cook well on a slow flame .
5. Now add salt , mix it well and allow it to cook for 2-3 mins .
6. Now add coriander powder , red chilli powder , turmeric powder , garam masala , green chilli
sauté it well for 3-4 mins .
7. Meanwhile take curd and whisk it thoroughly , add it into the onion tomato gravy & mix it well
.
8. Now add onion cubes , capsicum cubes mix it well , add water and allow it to cook for 2-3 mins.
9. Simultaneously take paneer and cut it into small cubes , keep it aside ,stir the mixture
occasionally .
10. Now add coriander leaves , kasuri methi , ginger julienne , paneer and mix it carefully ,cook it for
2 mins .
