Take sugar in a non-stick pan add water and saffron and mix. Boil for minutes to make sugar syrup.2. Take cornstarch in a large bowl. Add refined flour, baking soda, salt and sufficient water and mix to make a smooth batter.3. Add paneer and mix well.4. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag and pipe spirals into hot oil. Cook on both sides till golden brown. 5. Transfer the fired jalebis into the sugar syrup and let it soak for a few minutes.6.
