If you're bored with the usual ways of enjoying paneer, here's a saag which is prepared with fenugreek leaves to make your day!
PANEER SAAG

Ingredients

300 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium bunch spinach
½ medium bunch fenugreek leaves
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 green chillies, chopped
½ tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 medium onions, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
Salt to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1½ tsps Tata Sampann Paneer Masala
2 tbsps fresh cream



Method

1. Heat water in a deep nonstick pan. Add spinach leaves, fenugreek leaves and blanch for 30 seconds. Transfer in chilled water and set aside.
2. Squeeze water and transfer in a blender jar. Grind to fine paste.
3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds. Once they start to crackle, add green chillies, ginger and garlic and mix well. Sauté for 30-40 seconds.
4. Add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Add Tata Sampann Paneer Masala and mix well.
6. Add the prepared paste and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add cottage cheese cubes and mix well. Switch off the heat and add fresh cream and mix well.
