Parmmesan Crumb Chicken | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Boneless chicken pieces marinated with herbs and spices, crumbed with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and deep fried.

PARMESAN CRUMB CHICKEN

Ingredients

¼ cup parmesan cheese powder
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
250 grams boneless chicken leg, cut into 1 inch pieces
Oil for deep-frying
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 egg
Tomato ketchup for serving

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, chilli flakes, lemon juice and ginger-garlic paste and mix. Break an egg and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes
3. Take breadcrumbs on a plate. Add parmesan cheese powder and salt and mix well.
4. Coat each marinated chicken piece with breadcrumbs-parmesan cheese mixture.
5. Deep-fry chicken pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
