I learnt this from my grandma. Patisapta is all about emotion in Bengal. Yes, it is traditional sweet enjoyed only in winter months. If you have sweet tooth then you would just love it! It is like a crepe with a marvellous stuffing of coconut & jaggery. Try this and comment if you like the recipe. ----- Ingredients1 cup semolina2 cups all-purpose flour1 cup sugar1 tea spoon cardamom powder2 /3 table spoon ghee1 whole coconut grated2 cups milk 1 cup khoya kheer (mawa)250 gms jaggery ------ Method : Part A : The batter 1. In a bowl mix semolina, sugar, flour & milk and mix well2. Add the cardamom powder to the mixPart B : The Stuffing 1. Heat a pan and add ghee2. Add the grated coconut when the oil is smoking3. Add the jaggery and mix well stirring constantly4. Add the mawa5. Let it rest for a while and cool downPart C : Final preparation 1. Brush ghee on a heated pan and spread the batter as shown 2. Put the stuffing and fold it as shown3.
