A peachy mocktail – a wonderful beginning to an enjoyable party.

PEACH SURPRISE

Ingredients

1 cup tinned peach
Ice cubes as required
¼ cup castor sugar
Salt to taste
A lemon wedge
1 teaspoon peach syrup
Soda as required
Chopped fresh mint leaves as required

Method

1. Blend together peach and some ice cubes till crushed.
2. Spread castor sugar on a plate, add salt and mix well. Rub lemon wedge on the rim of serving martini glass and coat with sugar-salt mixture.
3. Pour some crushed peach mixture and put some lemon slices in the glass. Pour peach syrup and some soda.
4. Put some mint leaves on top, stir and serve chilled.
