Pear Chips | Pear Pairings | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Crispy fried roundels of pears that make these chips super interesting and tasty.

PEAR CHIPS

Ingredients

1 medium green USA Pear
4 tbsps castor sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon powder

Method

1. Preheat oven to 120° C.
2. Thinly slice USA Pear using a mandolin slicer.
3. Line a baking tray with silicon mat and place the pear slices. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes.
4. Mix together castor sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl.
5. Remove the half-baked pear slices from the oven, flip and sprinkle some cinnamon-sugar on top.
6. Put the tray back in the preheated oven and bake for 5-6 minutes or till crisp. Remove from oven and cool.
7. Serve or store in an air-tight container.
