INGREDIENTS
1. Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
2. Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
3. Pepper - 1/2 Teaspoon
4. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
5. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
6. Dried Chillies - 3
7. Garlic Cloves - 7-8
8. Coriander Leaves - 1/2 Cup
9. Curry Leaves - 1/2 Cup
10. Tamarind - 30 Grams
11. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
12. Oil - 2 Tablespoons

Pre-soak tamarind in water. Squish tamarind and make juice. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, pieces of 3 dried chillies and fry. Add curry leaves, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. Add previously made tamarind juice. Add water as desired. Let the rasam boil. Let's prepare powder now. Heat a pan and fry 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Fry them for 2 minutes. Seperate powders also could be used. Move them into a bowl and powder it. Add this powder to the boiling rasam. This powder could be stored in an air tight container. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt. Let rasam boil for 5 minutes. Grind 7-8 garlic cloves coarsly. Coriander leaves could also be grinded with them or added as it is. Add grinded garlic cloves. Add corander leaves.
