Simple and easy, this poha samosa is the perfect snack for the rainy day!POHA SAMOSAIngredients1 cup soaked pressed rice (poha)8 samosa pattis 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon mustard seeds1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 medium onion, finely chopped1 medium tomato, finely choppedSalt to taste ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves Oil for deep-fryingRefined flour (maida) slurry as requiredTomato ketchup for servingMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add green chillies and onion and sauté till onion turns translucent. 2. Add tomato and mix. Add salt and sauté till tomato turns soft. Add turmeric powder and sauté for 1 minute. 3. Add pressed rice, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander leaves, mix and cook for 1 minute. Transfer in a bowl and cool.4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 5. To prepare samosa, put a portion of pressed rice mixture on one side of each samosa patti, apply some slurry on the sides, fold to make triangle and seal applying some slurry. 6. Put the samosas in hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 7.
