Pot Pie Soup with Tender Pops
Ingredients:
K&N’s Tender Pops 780 g
Butter 4 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1/4 cup
Garlic (minced) 1/2 tbsp
Carrot (diced) 1/2 cup
Potatoes (diced) 1/2 cup
All-purpose flour 1/4 cup
Chicken broth 1 L
Milk 1 ½ Cup
Peas 1/2 cup
Corn 1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp / to taste
Cream 1/2 cup
Parsley (chopped) 1 tbsp
Puff pastry sheet as required

Directions:
1. In a pot, heat butter over medium heat and add onion, garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
2. Now add carrot and potatoes, sprinkle flour and stir until veggies are coated and flour starts to dissolve.
3. Add chicken broth, milk and mix well. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
4. Add peas, corn, salt, black pepper, cream and simmer for another 10 minutes. If the soup gets too thick, add 1/2 cup of milk.
5. Add parsley and cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Fry K&N’s Tender Pops as per instructions on pack. Set aside.
7. Cut the puff pastry sheets into small squares and bake at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until crispy brown.
8. Pour the soup into bowls, sprinkle parsley and add K&N’s Tender Pops on top. Serve with pie crust crackers and enjoy.
