Pudla Sandwich

Ingredients for Gram flour mixture:
Gram flour 2 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Carom seeds 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Water 2 cups or as required

Ingredients for green chutney :
Mint leaves 1 cup
Green coriander 1 cup
Garlic cloves 2
Green chilies 2-3
Dried pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 1/4 cup
Yogurt 3 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Water 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Veggie Mixture:
Capsicum (julienne) 1 cup
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Cabbage (julienne) 1 cup
Carrot (julienne) 1/2 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Pudla Sandwich:
Gram flour mixture
Sandwich bread as required
Veggie mixture
Oil (for greasing) 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1 pinch
Cheddar cheese as required

Ingredients for Pakora Naan:
Leftover gram flour mixture
Gram flour 1/4 cup
Water as required
Leftover vegetable mixture
Oil 3 tbsp


Directions for gram flour mixture preparation:
1- In a bowl add gram flour, salt, carom seeds, chaat masala, turmeric, red chili, chat masala, and coriander powder, add water and mix it well. Your gram flour mixture is ready.
Directions for green chutney preparation:
1- Take a jar and add mint, coriander, garlic, green chili, pomegranate seeds, onion, salt, yogurt, and water.
2- Blend it well and your green chutney is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Veggie Mixture Preparation:
1- In a bowl, add capsicum, cabbage, onion, carrot, salt, lemon juice, and mix it well.
2- Your veggie mixture is ready.
Directions for Pudla Sandwich preparation:
1. Take sandwich bread slice and dip it in gram flour mixture.
2. Heat oil on a griddle and place the coated sandwich bread slices on it. Add a layer of veggie mixture, add butter and sprinkle chaat masala on it. Flip the slice and cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until fully done.
3. Now add a layer of cheddar cheese on one slice and place the other slice over it. Your Pudla Sandwich is ready.
Direction for Pakora Naan Preparation:
1- In a bowl add the leftover gram flour mixture, gram flour, water and mix well. add leftover veggie mixture and mix it again.
2- Spread it on the naan and then fry the naan until it turns light golden brown from each side.
3- Your Pakora Naan is ready.
