Pumpkin Pear Tart -- FIRST TASTE of Fall Flavor!

How to cook a pumpkin-pear tart - A great dish for early autumn.

Maybe it's not a tart. Tarts have pastry on the bottom. This is a tart without that. It tastes great regardless.

1. Grease a pie pan with butter. It helps if it's a little bit warm.
2. In a bowl, mix cranberries, 1 tbps sugar, similar amount molasses, 2 tbps corn meal, and pumpkin puree.
3. Add mixture to pan and arrange pears on top. Optionally, coat with butter or coconut oil or egg wash.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until hot. Remove and grate nutmeg over the tart.
