Quick and easy recipe for cauliflower (Gobi ) biryani is perfect for busy weekdays when you don't have hours to spend in the kitchen. This fried rice recipe makes a great use of plain rice and is quite tasty.

Ingredients:
1 tsp Jeera/Cumin seeds
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
1 small piece of onion chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp Briyani Masala
1/2 tsp red chilli pwd
1 cup cauliflower
2 cups cooked rice ( I used brown rice)
Cilantro leaves for garnish
Chopped Cucumber and Tomatoes as a topping

Method

Heat oil in a wok and add cumin+Mustard seeds.
Add onions, saute for a min and add salt/ chilli powder. Mix well and then add cauliflower and cook for 2-3 mins.
Next, add briyani masala and rice. Once thoroughly mixed with spices, add lemon juice, garnish with cilantro leaves ( or green onions) and serve with your favourite toppings or plain yogurt.
