Add Boiled Eggs instead of Baby Potatoes to make Egg Biryani

Before I used to follow traditional way of making Biryani but my whole family love Biryani and I was looking for easy way to prepare it and now I am so glad to make Biryani anytime with this easy to follow recipe and do not make any difference in taste. Simple recipe but taste so much delicious!

Ingredient List:

1 tbsp Oil + 2 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
8-10 Baby potatoes or 2 big potatoes, cubed (Not a big fan of Potato? use other veggies.
1 cup Basmati Rice (Washed & soaked for 15-20 minutes)
1 1/4 cup water - add less if your yogurt is not thick
Whole spices such as 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 2 Black Cardamom, 3 Bay Leafs, 5 Cloves, 5 Black Peppercorns, 1" Cinnamon stick
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste or as per your taste
Salt to taste (You may not see me adding salt in video since my ginger, garlic has enough salt in it. I preserve those pastes with salt)
Powdered spices such as 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder, 1 tsp red Chilli powder, 1 tsp Biryani masala
1/2 cup Thick Yogurt / curd(Dahi)
Fresh Herbs such as 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
2 tbsp Saffron water
1 tsp Biryani Masala
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
2 tbsp fried Onion if available
