A decadent and rich Moong Dal Halwa that gets ready in an instant.QUICK MOONG DAL HALWAIngredients1 cup Tata Sampann Moong Dal¼ cup ghee1-2 tbsps full fat milk powder¾ cup sugar2 tbsps chopped cashew nuts + for garnish2 tbsps chopped almonds + for garnishBlanched and slivered pistachios for garnishGreen cardamom powder for sprinklingDried crushed rose petals for garnishMethod1. Heat a non-stick pan, add Tata Sampann Moong Dal and roast till golden brown. Take it off the heat and allow to cool slightly.2. In a blender jar, add the roasted moong dal and grind to a coarse powder. 3. Heat ghee in the same non-stick pan, sauté for 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, heat 1 cup water in another pan and let it come to a boil. 4. Add milk powder to the moong dal mixture and mix till well combined. Add the boiling water into the same pan and mix till smooth and lump free.5. Add sugar and mix well. Add cashew nuts, almonds and pistachios chopped and mix well.6. Cook for 10 minutes, mixing continuously. Take it off the heat.7. Transfer into a serving plate, garnish with chopped almonds, pistachios slivers, chopped cashew nuts.
