Wash and drain the lentils. 2. Take a pressure cooker and add tbsp oil and heat it up. Add cumin, mustard, chillies, curry leaves and fenugreek seeds. Fry for a min. 3. Add onions, ginger-garlic paste, salt and turmeric. Fry for 2 mins and mix in the vegetables. 4. Add tamarind juice and tomatoes. Mix well and add Lentils. Another quick stir and add water. Add Sambhar Masala Powder. 5. Put the lid on pressure cooker and cook for 4 whistles. Turn the heat off and let pressure cooker cool down before opening it. Your vegetable and Lentils curry is now ready. Serve with rice or flat bread your choice. Great as a soup in itself too.
