Raab (Sweet Wheat Flour Porridge) by Toral | India Food Network

Raab is a warm health drink made from pearl millet flour also known as bajra that is infused with ginger and ajowan, most often prepared and served to strengthen the immune system of a new mother or to someone who is low on energy or has a congested chest. Watch the video to learn how to make this simple recipe!

Ingredients:

Ingredients

1 cup Whole Wheat flour
1 ½ cup Jaggery
2-3 cups Water
1 tbsp. Ghee

Method

1. Melt the ghee in a frying pan.

2. Add the wheat flour and roast the mixture for 2-3 minutes.

3. While the mixture is being roasted, mix the jaggery and water in another pan.

4. Heat this mix until the jaggery melts.

5. Now pour it into the first pan and stir well. Let it boil for 3-4 minutes.

Serve piping hot with Pooda (gram flour pancakes/cheela).
