Ghee2 Bay leaves12 pods of garlic, crushed1” piece of Ginger, crushed250 gms. Yoghurt5 medium onions, finely chopped4 medium tomatoes, finely chopped1½ tbsp. Chilli powder2 tsp. Coriander seed powderSalt to taste½ cup fresh coriander finely choppedFor Garam Masala, grind 5 green cardamoms, 15 cloves, 1” cinnamon, 15 black peppercorns and a small piece of nutmeg.Method:-1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add the bay leaves and the mutton and fry for 5 minutes on a high flame. Add the minced mutton and fry further for 5 minutes.2. Add the crushed ginger nad garlic and sauté for a minute and then add the onions and fry for 5 minutes.3. Then add the powdered garam masala and fry for 3-4 minutes.4. Add the tomatoes and fry for another 5 minutes.5. Now add the chilli powder and the coriander seed powder and fry again for another 5 minutes till the tomatoes are soft.6. Add the whipped yoghurt and sauté further for 10 minutes.7. Add water, salt and pressure cook until 3-4 whistles are blown.8.
