Rava & Curd at home?!! Delicious Rava Mor Kali/Mor Kuzhu Ready! Traditional Recipe with Tips! | Sujan Fun Kitchen

Bored of exotic cuisine, Iralian or Thai, one often craves for a traditional meal carrying with it many a nostalgic moments. So, here comes a healthy and easy recipe from #SujanFunKitchen of Mor Kali/Mor Kyzhu with a twist. This is Rava Mor Kali/Mor Kuzhu, an absolutely delicious and easy to make meal. This #Rava #MorKali or Rava #MorKuzhu is prepared by my mom, very lovingly and with complete tips.

So, without any further ado, let's go through the recipe.

Rava Mor Kuzhu/Mor Kali

Ingredients:

Rava/Sooji - 2 cups

Beaten Curd - 2 cups

Mor Milagai or sun-dried chilles (optional)

Til oil - 5 or 6 tbsps 

Mustard - 1 TSP

Urad dal - 1 TSP

Channa dal - 1 TSP 

Chopped green chillies - as reqd

Grated ginger - as reqd

Asafoetida - ½ tsp

Salt - as reqd

Method:

In a big bowl, mix the Rava and curd together

Now, add water till a thin dosa-like batter is attained

Add salt to taste

Heat oil in a big pan

Fry the Mor Milagai or sun-dried chillies till golden

Keep the fried Mor Milagai aside

Add more oil to the pan and heat

Splutter mustard seeds

Add asafoetida

Now, add the Dals and fry till golden

Add the chopped green chillies and ginger

Add curry leaves and saute

Now add the Rava Curd mixture into the pan

Keep stirring everything together over a medium flame till non sticky

Quickly add the fried Mor Milagai and mix well

Transfer to a greased plate and level out evenly

Allow to come to room temperature

Cut as desired and serve with Idli powder
