This restaurant style white kurma recipe is a mouthwatering keeper recipe which anyone can make easily. One of the best side dish for Idli, Dosa, Idiyappam, Chapathi and Appam, this is a very famous South Indian Kurma/Korma. The white colour of the kurma is mainly got by avoiding tomato and chilli powder in the recipe. This is a must try recipe!

Serves : 5 - 7
Shelf-life: 1 day (4 days if refregerated)

Ingredients:
1. Oil - 1 tbsp
2. Bay leaf - 2
3. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
4. Onion, medium - 1
5. Beans - 1 cup
6. Carrot - 1 cup
7. Fresh green peas - 1 cup
8. Potato - 1 cup
9. ginger-garlic paste - 3 tsp
10. Water - 2 to 3 cups
11. Salt - to taste
12. Corainder - to garnish
13. Juice of half lemon (or 1 tsp)

For paste:
14. Coconut, grated - 1.5 cups
15. Fried gram - 1.5 tbsp
16. Green chillies - 4 or 5
17. Cashewnuts - 12 or 1 handful
18. Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
19. Garam masala - 1 tsp
