Roast Chicken Recipe

Chef Jason Hill shows how to make an easy roast chicken recipe in this "Chef Tips" tutorial. All you need for this easy recipe for roast chicken is a raw whole chicken, tarragon, lemon, butter, olive oil and salt and pepper. Although you make this whole roast chicken in the oven, you can also make this whole roast chicken on the barbecue or grill by placing it on indirect heat with the two side burners on high, and the spot where the chicken is on low. Keep it on the grill or in the oven until the internal temperature of roast chicken reaches a temperature of 165 F. This equates to roughly one hour. You should baste this easy roast chicken every 10-15 minutes.

Note: The calories in roast chicken will be roughly 200 calories per 5-ounce serving.
