Roast Turkey with Orange-Stuffing and Rice Recipe

Auntie Saniye is sharing a delicious, festive recipe with us today. This would be a mouth-watering main on Christmas, New Year's Eve, Bayrams and all other special days. We hope you enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS:
1 turkey
2 lemons
1 roasting bag
For its sauce:
1 dessertspoon of paprika powder
1 dessertspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of cumin
10 leaves of dried basil, could be green or purple
1 dessertspoon of black pepper
1 dessertspoon of chopped rosemary
200ml of olive oil
5 cloves of garlic, grated
Other ingredients:
1 chopped big potato to lay under the turkey
3 chopped carrots
1 big onion, cut in quarters
2 oranges and 1 lemon, all chopped in chunky pieces
These will go inside the turkey
6 chopped cloves of garlic, this will also go inside the turkey
140ml of orange juice
200ml of water
For the rice:
600ml of turkey broth (you will have it when you boil the turkey)
400ml of rice, it has already waited in salty boiling water for 15 minutes
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Some hot pepper flakes
2 chopped onions
1 dessertspoon of dried blackcurrants
Some pinenuts
Some salt
Some black peppercorns
Some cumin
1 tablespoon of butter
