Wholesome salad with bits of mixed meat.SAIMESE MIXED MEAT SALAD WITH ROSE PETALSIngredients 5-6 chicken sausages, cut into chunks1 cup boiled and cubed chicken½ cup shrimps, boiled7 – 8 fresh rose petals4 tablespoons olive oil1 tablespoon minced garlic1 medium onion, finely chopped1 teaspoon sugar2 bird eye red chillies, finely chopped1 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon fish sauce 4 tablespoons roasted and crushed peanuts1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander Method 1. Heat one tablespoon olive oil in a nonstick pan. Add sausages and stir fry for one minute. Transfer into a bowl and keep aside.2. Heat one tablespoon oil in the same nonstick pan. Add garlic and onion and stir fry till they turn golden brown in colour.3. Take remaining olive oil, sugar, red chillies, lemon juice and fish sauce in a bowl and mix well. 4. In another large bowl combine fried sausages, shrimp and boiled chicken along with the dressing and mix well.5. Add half the rose petals, peanuts, fried onion and garlic reserving some for garnish and mix well.6. Transfer into a serving plate.
