Sangria Popsicles | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This should be a part of every brunch menu - colourful, boozy and delicious - red wine sangria popsicles!

SANGRIA POPSICLES - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

1½ cups red wine
2 tablespoons castor sugar
6-8 strawberries, chopped
2-4 fresh mint sprigs
1 cup pomegranate juice

Method

1. Heat red wine in a non-stick pan. Add castor sugar, mix and cook till it melts.
2. Put some strawberries in a popsicle mould tray.
3. Remove pan from heat, add torn mint sprigs and mix. Add pomegranate juice and mix.
4. Pour the mixture into the popsicle mould tray, cover and freeze for 5-6 hours.
5. Demould and serve immediately.
