You can now serve Makai Sarson Nachos which you can serve to your guest.SAROSN KA SAAG ON NACHOSIngredientsGrated mozzarella cheese for toppingTomato juliennes for garnishing Sarson ka saag1 medium bunch mustard leaves (sarson ka saag)4-5 garlic cloves, chopped½ inch ginger, chopped1 medium onion, chopped1 medium bunch spinach leaves½ medium bunch bathua leaves, cleanedSalt to taste1 tablespoon cornmeal4 tablespoons butterNachos1 cup cornmeal1 cup refined flour½ teaspoon turmeric powderSalt to taste Oil for deep-frying Method1. To make nachos dough, combine cornmeal, refined flour, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead into a semi soft dough. Cover and set aside for 15-20 minutes.2. To make sarson ka saag, heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger and onion and sauté till onion turns translucent.3. Chop mustard leaves and add to the pan. Chop spinach leaves and add to the pan. Mix well.4. Add bathua leaves, mix well, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 6. Divide the dough into equal small portions and roll into thin sheets. Cut into triangles and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crispy. Drain on absorbent paper.7. Add salt to sarson ka saag, mix well and blend with a hand blender. Add cornmeal, butter and mix well.8. Arrange nachos on a serving plate and top each with spoonful of cooked sarson ka saag. Top with mozzarella cheese, garnish with tomato juliennes and serve immediately.
