Unlike the usual sweet one, this Savoury Jowar Pancakes is a healthy and tasty option to start your day with.SAVOURY JAWAR PANCAKESIngredients1½ cups sorghum (jawar) flour¼ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp red chilli powder2 green chillies, choppedSalt to taste1½ tsps sugar1 tsp white sesame seedsA pinch of asafoetida (hing)1 tsp ginger-garlic paste Oil for cookingChopped onions as requiredChopped tomatoes as requiredChopped fresh coriander leaves as requiredCoconut chutney for servingMethod1. Take jawar flour in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, salt, sugar, white sesame seeds, hing, ginger-garlic paste and mix well.2. Add 1¼ cups water and whisk well to form smooth batter.3. Heat a shallow nonstick pan. Grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter. Sprinkle onions, tomatoes, salt, coriander leaves on top.4. Drizzle some more oil, cover and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.5. Flip and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes more.6.
