In a skillet, sauté stems, green pepper and onion in butter until tender. Remove from the heat, and stir in the cayenne, bread, salt, and pepper. Stuff mixture into mushroom caps. Place on a baking tray and bake, uncovered for 15 minutes or until stuffing is lightly browned.
