This recipe for scalloped potatoes calls for:

8 Yukon gold potatoes
1 quart of heavy cream
4 ounces Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons garlic-shallot puree (or crushed garlic)
Handful of fresh thyme leaves
and some salt and fresh cracked pepper.
