Check out Ruchi Bharani's take on this popular Gujarati recipe called Sev Ki Sabzi. Ingredients:2 Tomatoes, Peeled & Chopped1 Onion, Finely Chopped1 Green Chilli, Finely ChoppedLemon Juice1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder1/2 Tsp Coriander & Cumin Seed Powder1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder1 Tbsp Oil1 Tsp Mustard Seeds1 Tsp Cumin Seeds1/4 Tsp AsafoetidaSalt To TasteCoriander Leaves1/2 Bhavnagari GathiaJaggery To Taste (Optional)Method:- Heat oil in a pan. - Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, chopped green chillies and onions. Cook the onion slightly but make sure that they do not turn brown.- Add the tomatoes to the above ingredients and saute.- Add salt to taste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander and cumin seed powder and coriander leaves and cook until the tomatoes are soft. - Add water. - Add the jaggery and lime juice and mix well.- The gravy / rassa is ready.- Pour it in the serving bowl.- Serve it with Bhavnagri Gathiyas of your choice and some coriander leaves. - The delicious sev ki sabzi is ready to be served.
