This Chole goes very well with Bhaturas (Video already uploaded) and Rotis. Let me show how easily you can prepare it at home.Ingredients:250 gms Kabuli Chana/Chickpeas2 Potatoes2 chopped Onions2 chopped Tomatoes2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste4 Tbsp Mustard Oil1 tbsp Chana masala1 pinch Hing1 tbsp Tea leaves3 Green Elaichi2 Bay leaves2 Green Chillies1 tbsp Cumin1 tbsp Red Chilli powder1 tbsp Coriander powder1/4 tsp Haldi1 tsp Amchur1 tsp Kasuri Methi1 Black Elaichi3 Cloves3 Cinnamon sticksFew Coriander leavesSalt to tasteMethod: Soak Kabuli Chana overnight. Make a Potli with Tea leaves (For colour) and whole spices. Put this Potli in the Cooker along with the Chana and Potatoes. After the first whistle, reduce flame and cook for another 15 minutes or till Chana is done. Grind Tomatoes and Green Chillies to form a paste.Put Mustard Oil in a pan and splutter Jeera and chopped Onions and fry till brown. Add Hing, Tomato paste, Turmeric, Ginger Garlic paste, Coriander powder, Red Chilli powder and fry till Oil leaves the sides of the pan. Put in Chole masala, boiled Potatoes, and mash. Add the cooked Chole along with a little water. Cook and reduce to a thick gravy. Add Amchur, Kasuri Methi and Coriander leaves. Shaadi wale Chole is ready. Serve along with Onion rings and lime.
