Shawarma Platter
Preparation for Chicken:
K&N’s TenderBrest 5-6
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red Chili powder 1 tsp
Paprika ½ tsp
White Pepper 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin Powder ½ tsp
Lemon Juice ½ tbsp
Vinegar ½ tbsp
Icing sugar 1 tsp
Oil 2-3 tbsp (for grilling)
Preparation for Garlic Sauce:
Yogurt 1 cup
Mayonnaise ¼ cup
Garlic (minced) 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
White pepper ¼ tsp
Lemon Juice 1½ tbsp
Ingredients for Spicy Chili Sauce:
Dried Red Chilies 15-20 (Soaked)
Onion ¼ cup
Garlic 2 cloves
Ginger 1 inch
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Red Chili Powder ½ tsp
Cumin Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Garlic Powder ½ tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
Oil ¼ cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Salad:
Cabbage (shredded) ¼ cup
Cucumber (Chopped) ¼ cup
Green Capsicum (Chopped) ¼ cup
Lettuce (chopped) ¼ cup
Tomato (Chopped) ¼ cup
Salt a pinch
Lemon Juice ½ tbsp
For Plating:
Cooked Chicken
Pita Bread (grilled) 4-5
Vinegrated Salad as req
Garlic Sauce as req
Chili Sauce as req
Cooked rice (as req)
Directions for Chicken:
Prepare K&N’s TenderBrest as per the instructions on the Pack.
Transfer these K&N’s TenderBrest into a bowl. Add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, paprika powder, white pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, and oil. Marinade for 25-30 minutes.
Add oil to a preheated pan and cook K&N’s TenderBrest for 3 mins from each side on medium low heat.
Rest the cooked K&N’s TenderBrest for 5 mins and then cut into thin strips.
Directions for Garlic Mayo Sauce:
Add mayonnaise, salt, garlic, lemon juice, and white pepper to a bowl and mix until well combined. Keep aside.
Directions for Chili Sauce:
Add soaked red chilies, garlic, ginger, onion, salt, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and oil in a hand blender. Blend until smooth paste has formed. Keep aside.
Directions for Plating:
On a platter, add portions of cooked rice, salad, K&N’s TenderBrest strips , and grilled pita bread. Drizzle some garlic sauce over the K&N’s TenderBrest . Also serve garlic sauce and chili sauce along with the platter. Enjoy.
