snake guard cooked in yogurt with the south indian tadka served with rice.

Ingredients:

Snake gourd 250 g
Mustard oil 1 tb
Mustard seeds ¼ ts
Cumin seeds ¼ ts
Red chilly 2 n
Green chilly 3 n
Curry leaves 2 sp
Turmeric pinch
Salt
Curd (beaten) 1 cup

Directions:

Heat a pan add mustard oil once the oil is heated add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilly, chopped green chilly, curry leaves, turmeric, salt, sauté it and add snake gourd pieces mix it and put the lid on and let it cook in a slow flame until snake gourd is soft and tender, in this add beaten curd mix this and switch off the flame and add chopped coriander.

Serve this with rice.
