Ingredients

1 cup Sooji Rawa
1 cup Curd
Salt
Hing Dissolved In Water
Water as required
1 tbsp Curry Leaves
½ tbsp Ginger
1 tsp Green Chillies
¾ tsp Black Pepper
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tbsp Coconut
Pinch of Baking Soda
Sesame seed oil for deep frying

Method

1. In a bowl, whisk curd. Add rawa, mix well and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Add rest of the ingredients (except oil) and mix well. Add water as required to get a vada batter consistency. Add a pinch of soda just before frying.
3.Heat oil in a kadhai. Shape portions of batter into vadas and deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden brown.
4. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with coconut chutney.
