METHOD FOR MAKING SOYA CURRY :
INGREDIENTS
1. Soya Chunks - 1 Cup
2. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
3. Onions - 3
4. Tomatoes - 2
5. Oil - 2 Tablespoons
6. Green Chillies - 3
7. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
8. Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Teaspoon
9. Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Coriander Seeds Powder - 1 Teaspoon
11. Garam-Masala Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
12. Coriander Leaves - 1 Cup

Soya chunks have to be prepared first. Here I took 1 cup soya chunks. Heat water in a bowl. To the boiling water add soya chunks. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and let it boil till an effervesce is formed and cut off the stove. Put these soya chunks into room temperature water. Squeeze off the excess water and put them in a different bowl. Don't sqeeze too much. Chop 2 onions and make them into a paste. Make a paste of 2 tomatoes. To a pan add 2 tablespoons oil and heat it. Fry 1/2 cup chopped onions. Add 3 diced green chillies. Add prepared onion paste. Mix it and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, mix and cook till oil seeps out of it. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste and mix. After a minute add 1 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder and mix. Add prepared soya and mix. Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup water and mix. Cook till the gravy thickens. Add 1/2 cup curd if desired for tasty gravy. Add 1/4 teaspoon garam-masala powder, 1 cup coriander leaves and mix. Serve hot.
