SPICED CHICKENIngredients750 grams chicken on bone, cut into pieces1 teaspoon coriander seeds1 teaspoon cumin seeds5-6 cloves6-8 green cardamoms6-8 black peppercorns1 inch cinnamon1 inch ginger, finely chopped1 tablespoon chopped garlic1-2 green chillies1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leavesSalt to taste1 tablespoon oil1 medium onion, slicedMethod1. Dry-roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cardamoms, peppercorns and cinnamon in a non-stick pan till fragrant. 2. Grind together roasted spices, ginger, garlic and broken green chillies alongwith some water and chopped coriander to make a smooth paste.3. Take chicken in a bowl. Add ground paste and mix. Add salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden. Add marinated chicken and mix. Add some water, mix, cover and cook till chicken is done.5.
