Spinach with Farmer Lee Jones

When you hear the words buttery, nooks and crannies, you might think English muffin.

Not us. We think spinach.

If a vegetable can be buttery, our spinach is. It has a mild, sweet flavor and rich, round mouth feel. The texture is substantial yet tender. Deeply savoyed leaves create perfect crevices for emulsions and sauces. The pink-tipped root end of each little bundle is surprisingly sweet, and wed stack the nutritional quality of our spinach up against anyones.

At a time of year when cold weather marks the end of most field crops, our root spinach is at its best. As nighttime temperatures drop, the daily freeze and thaw cycle concentrates the plants sugars, which translates into big flavor.

Not all spinach is created equal. Thats because not all spinach is treated equal. Well harvest yours to order, package it pristinely, and deliver it to your door the very next day 24 hours from field to plate.
